Remember that children’s wetsuits should be close fitting.  You can however get away with a slightly larger suit when the water temperature is warmer, so you may buy bigger in hope of lasting another year.

I would always recommend  wearing a Rashvest under your wetsuit for added warmth and protection from salt rub.  When sea salt crystals dry they become sharp and abrasive. The neck is the prone area for this discomfort, the high collar on our smooth lycra rashvest helps prevent this.

Thermal rashvests are designed to be worn under your wetsuit. For extra heat retention a thermal rashvest is advisable,  the plush fleece has greater thermal properties which help to keep you warmer.

Once out of the water and playing on the beach many parents keep the rashvest on their child for added sun protection at UV50+ rated, in these bright colours they are easy to see and look like cool surfer dudes.
